GROUND NUT CAKE
Groundnut cake is a by product obtained after extraction of oil. The cake contains 45–60% protein, 22–30% carbohydrate, 3.8–7.5% crude fibre and 4–6% minerals (Desai et al 1999a). The groundnut production in India was 9.4 mt and in Andhra Pradesh 0.74 mt (Anon 2009).
