B.Sc.(Ag), M.Sc.(Ag), Ph.D., FSBA, FAAPMHE, FSPH ARS and Principal Scientist (Retd.) Former Head, Division of Entomology & Nematology, Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bangalore Former National Platform Coordinator (CRP on Borers), (Indian Council of Agricultural Research- Indian Institute of Horticultural Research), Bangalore Currently: Managing Director, Genuine Fert& Pest Pvt Ltd., Bangalore, India Worked as Principal Scientist (Agril.Ento.) and National Platform Coordinator (CRP on Borers) at Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bangalore under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi before superannuation. I worked with ICAR for nearly 38 years and during my research, developed over 18 technologies by which pest can be controlled using bio-control agents (without using pesticides) such as parasitoids, predators and entomo-pathogens. I have published over 300 research papers including 209 papers in leading national and international peer reviewed journals.

I was a Vice President of Society for Biocontrol Advancement, Bangalore, India for 12years Also, I was an Editor-in- Chief of Journal of Horticultural Sciences for 10 years (2005- 2015) published under the Society for Promotion of Horticulture, Bangalore, India I was a General secretary (1987-2002) and President (2002-2012) of Association for Advancement of Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems, Bangalore, India I was Chairmen of several institute level committees, organized two international conferences, five national conferences and several one day brain storming meetings on the management of pests of horticultural ecosystems as Chairman/ President Organizing committees. I represented and headed few committees at National level. I was a Head of the Department of Entomology and Nematology and handled several projects costing from Rs. 6.00 lakh to Rs. 2375.00 lakh with 33 centres across the country. I won several prestigious awards and Fellows of three national scientific bodies. Currently: I am Managing Director, and leading the company, Genuine Fert and Pest Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, India since 2015, where I offer consultancy to farmers and urban terrace garden growers besides trading genuine quality products to the customers from our outlet.

ANESH KUMAR, Director –(Finance and Technical) aged about 50 years, a B.Com graduate having more than 26 years of experience in automobile industry, plastic can manufacturing industry and coir pith industry.
